IT Specialist

Position Overview:
As an integral part of the growing N.C Vanek Group IT team, you will have a direct impact on the success of the organization. You will influence our employee’s best practices and enable them to safely perform their daily duties. You will assist corporate and remote staff by providing quality customer service, provisioning the tools they need, and helping remediate IT problems.

We are seeking a hardworking, self-motivated candidate to perform the following functions:
  • Provision hardware for new hires during onboarding and replacements for existing employees
  • Provision accounts on any of our collaboration tools and distribute credentials to our employees
  • Assist with employee’s onboarding and offboarding tasks
  • Work on answering support questions and requests through any of our IT queues
  • Troubleshoot MacOS, laptops, systems and hardware assigned to employees or corporate offices
  • Administration of the company’s Google Workspace service, including email, drive, documents
  • Transmission of information and digital documents from the center to the project teams in the field
  • Preparation of management conference systems
  • IT assistance for the teams, on the field
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Must have a desire to develop interpersonal and technical skills necessary for an IT Support position
  • Must be able to follow verbal and written directions and work in a team environment
  • Should be computer savvy and possess some basic knowledge of computer/printer/network anatomy and operations, including Apple laptops, MacOS and peripherals
  • Must be motivated and a self-starting individual requiring little oversight to complete tasks in a timely manner after initial direction is provided
  • Must enjoy working in a 100% remote environment, but available to assist with tasks in our field projects when required
  • Bachelor's degree in communication technology, computer science or in a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in IT, interim will also be considered
  • English Level C1-C2, Romanian, Czech and any other additional language is a plus

Director Administrativ-Finance Director

We are seeking an experienced and analytical finance director with strong numerical skills to drive our organization's financial operations and improve financial performance. Duties for the finance director will include supervising accounting staff, overseeing internal controls, setting financial targets, engaging with investors, developing a financial strategy, monitoring expenditure, overseeing annual plans, monitoring cash flow, evaluating investments, and managing tax compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Directing financial planning and strategy.
  • Analyzing and reporting on financial performance.
  • Overseeing audit and tax functions.
  • Developing and implementing accounting policies.
  • Preparing forecasts and comprehensive budgets.
  • Training accounting staff.
  • Reviewing departmental budgets.
  • Assessing, managing, and minimizing risk.
  • Analyzing complex financial data.
  • Participation in the meetings of the reunited Finance departments of Vanek Group Company.
  • Maintaining permanent communication with the Vice President in charge of Finance.
  • Preparation of financial reports for both internal and group leadership

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software.
  • Financial management experience.
  • Strong aptitude for math.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Broad knowledge of accounting principles.
  • English level C2.
  • EU citizenship.
